However, it is essential to understand that certain circumstances may arise during the cleaning and detailing process that are beyond our control. This disclaimer outlines specific situations in which we cannot be held responsible for damage to interior pieces or exterior finishes of vehicles, particularly those that are heavily neglected or have high mileage. Vehicles that have not been maintained regularly may have interior components that are fragile or deteriorated due to age, wear, and environmental factors. We will take utmost care during the cleaning process; however, we cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs as a result of cleaning heavily soiled or neglected interiors. High-mileage vehicles often experience wear and tear on their interior components. Items such as upholstery, plastics, and electronic systems may be more susceptible to damage during cleaning. By using our services, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for any pre-existing conditions that may lead to further deterioration during the detailing process. If your vehicle has existing damage (e.g., rips, tears, cracks) in its interior components prior to our service, we cannot be held liable for any exacerbation of this damage during cleaning. While we use professional-grade cleaning products designed to be safe for automotive interiors, some materials may react adversely to these products. We will inform you of potential risks associated with specific materials; however, we cannot accept liability for any adverse reactions resulting from the use of these products. Tree sap, bird etchings, hard water buildup, etc can damage an uncoated or even a coated vehicle if left unattended for long enough. In extreme circumstances the affected area will need to be wet-sanded/corrected again or repainted to repair a heavy etching from hard water, sap, etc. Do not park by active sprinklers, under heavily sapping trees, etc. When performing paint correction services on vehicles with resprayed panels (i.e., panels that have been painted outside of factory specifications), there is an inherent risk involved. Resprayed surfaces may not adhere as well as factory paint and could be more prone to damage during polishing or buffing processes. Therefore, we cannot be held liable for any damage incurred while performing paint correction on these surfaces. Factory paint is typically applied under controlled conditions and adheres better than aftermarket resprays. As such, our liability is limited when working on vehicles with resprayed panels compared to those with original factory paintwork. Window tinting laws vary by state and municipality. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their chosen tint complies with local regulations. Failure to adhere to these laws may result in fines or the need to remove the tint. No Refunds. Customers should be aware that window tints can alter the appearance of windows, potentially affecting visibility, especially at night or in low-light conditions. Proper maintenance is crucial for preserving the integrity of window tints. Customers should avoid using abrasive cleaners or tools that could scratch the film surface. It is recommended to wait at least 72 hours after installation before cleaning or rolling down tinted windows. No refunds for gift certificates. By utilizing our detailing services, you acknowledge understanding these risks and agree not to hold Koenig’s Detailing liable for damages resulting from the aforementioned circumstances.
